Barbara was my only Aunt that I knew. 

I grew up in California, but I spent many summers with her.  She would  take me on lovely holidays around England and France, creating memories that I will always cherish. 

She was generous, and sensible, a straight shooter who would always tell it like it is. 

She enjoyed travelling, spending time with her family and friends, playing bowls, golf and trivia games.  (Which she was very good at by the way) 

She didn’t take life too seriously, but she knew when things were serious. She was tough, yet fair and would lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. 

I will always remember Aunt Barbara for her generous nature, her boisterous laugh, great sense of humor… and she was the only 80 year old, I knew that still drove a stick shift.  

She will greatly missed, especially by her sister.  But she would not want everyone here today, mourn her loss. 

She would have wanted you to rejoice in her life and remember all the fond memories you shared with her.

Barbara, we love you, we miss you. We will see you on the other side.
